Valentine's Day

Today was Valentine's Day. Forget honoring the martyred St. Valentine and the love letters that he wrote his "valentine." How was everyone's night? My wife made the best meal that she has made in a while. We also exchanged the customary cards and I got her a stuffed bear holding a box of Snickers. Isn't that sweet? Anyone have any stories? Keep 'em clean.

Julie and I made the mistake of going out to eat at Olive Garden. The place was packed. We waited an hour and ten minutes to eat. But, we still had a great time. We exchanged cards. We have obviously spent alot of time together because our cards had some very similar comments in them. By the way, never, ever, ever, ever, ever order flowers from 1-800-flowers. I ordered them and they guaranteed that the flowers would be here between 9am and 7pm Feb.14th. You know when they arrived. They still haven't and I can't get anyone in customer service. You try to do something nice and it blows up in your face. Oh well, I told Julie about it and she said she didn't care. In fact, she told me to try and get our money back.

Yeah...so I finally got in touch with someone over there. They said they should have never taken my order. They gave me a full refund and offered me a gift card. So all in all not too bad I guess.
