In all seriousness, I prefer watching womens' tennis over mens'. The men constantly 'ace' each other and there are fewer rallies.
Don't make fun! I went to see Duke women play yesterday, and those girls were throwing down John McEnroe style on some bad line calls. I fear them.
I know...just some good natured ribbing.
You know... I feel so left out because I don't keep up with sports anymore. Anyone want to talk philosophical theology?
Ross,
Yes. We would all love to talk about that. Please dazzle us with a topic. We are craving discussion.
Drew,
Women's tennis? REALLY? I guess it has something to do with my disdain with many other individual sports like bowling or women's golf or ice skating. That is what I equate with tennis. Ice skating and tennis, yes, that sounds about right.
Michael,
Let's critique your critique, shall we?
1. Bowling is not a sport. It is a game. I deny any true athletic ability to a sport that you can eat nachos immediately prior to participating.
2. There is no twirling in tennis, and thus tennis far superior.
3. Most Americans don't get this game. However, I am an old English man in my heart remember? I think that my selection of sport is quite appropriate, don't you?
Cheers!
By the way, go check my blog. I'm getting drilled because I mentioned the 'e' word.
